● That it is vitally important for people to find new life in Jesus Christ because "Salvation is found in no one else [except Jesus Christ], for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
● That the Bible is God’s Word - it forms the basis for everything we do and teach because “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
● With the Christian Church from the very first centuries, we confess the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds. As a Reformed Church we also affirm these confessions. These statements help us “contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people” (Jude 3) and to help us “live a life worthy of the calling [we] have received” (Ephesians 4:1).
● In caring for people’s souls. Our Pastor, elders, and deacons serve together to guide and care for the people of our church and community to “Keep watch over [ourselves] and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers” (Acts 20:28).
