SEARCH TEAM HIGHLIGHTS: The search team met Wednesday, February 19. Sam presented to us the revised copy of the job description and our church graphic. The team approved both of them. We decided to share this document with the congregation. There is a copy in your mailbox. Sam also walked us through the steps of the discernment process, and what a first zoom (internet) conversation will look like when we begin interviews. He had us setup the area where we wanted to do the interviews, and worked with us to get all of the electronic side of the process in place. Karin will be checking into the possibility of getting us a faster internet connection to insure the interviews work smoothly without any glitches or delays in our Wi-Fi connection with the candidates. We are calling all prayer warriors (the congregation) to please be in prayer for us as we continue on this journey.

IT’S CAR SHOW TIME!! Our “Back to School” Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show will be held on August 15 here at church. A listing of businesses to visit for sponsorships or prizes is on the door outside the pastor’s study. If you can help, please place your name next to that business and then see Karin for forms. Your help is appreciated!

SUPPLIES NEEDED: For filling small dialysis pillows, the Creative Crew remains in need of soft textiles, such as old, even quite-worn T-shirts, sweaters, flannel shirts, blankets, toweling, batting, etc. Even if marred by some stubborn stains, the remaining fabric will be cut into small pieces, and when mixed with fiberfill and stuffed into pillows, will offer comfort during the long, arduous process of dialysis. Your donations may be left in the Creative Crew room downstairs, or beside the “grocery bag box” near the pastor’s study. See Judy Vanderploeg with any questions.

ITEMS THE CHURCH IS SAVING: Egg cartons, pop tabs, plastic bags, and greeting cards. There are boxes on the shelf next to the pastor’s office.

INCASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER please watch KWQC-TV6 for cancelations.

THE FOOD PANTRY ITEMS for February are Toothpaste or Shampoo. Please help support the pantry by bringing a donation to church.
